Cloud backup connections use an OAuth token that your provider issued to Hemma. These tokens can expire or be revoked when you:
Fix: Click Reconnect on the disconnected provider card. Sign in to the provider and grant access again. Hemma restores the connection immediately and retries any documents that failed to sync.
Provider account issue — if the reconnect flow fails at the provider's login screen, the problem is with the provider account (wrong password, account suspended). Sort that out first, then reconnect.
Wrong account connected — if you connected a Google account that has been deleted or a Dropbox account you no longer use, you will need to disconnect and reconnect with the correct account.
Scopes removed — if you revoked Hemma's specific permission in your provider's security settings without disconnecting from Hemma, the integration will appear active in Hemma but fail silently. Disconnect, wait a moment, then reconnect to get a fresh OAuth grant.
Browser cookie or popup blocked — the OAuth flow opens in a popup or redirect. If your browser blocks popups, the connection cannot complete. Allow popups for Hemma and try again.
