The documents, invoices, budgets, contractors, messages, and milestones in your project are stored in a dedicated database. They are not used for analytics. Only you and your team members can access them through Hemma.
When Hemma processes a document, the file content is sent to an AI provider for extraction. Hemma's AI provider agreements prohibit using your documents to train their models. The extracted result is stored in your project; the raw content sent to the AI is not retained beyond the processing step.
Does Hemma read my emails? Only emails you forward to your project address. Hemma processes these to extract documents and dates — it does not read your regular inbox.
Can I request a copy of my data? A formal data export is not available yet in the app. Email hello@gethemma.app and we will prepare a copy for you manually.
How do I delete my data? Deleting your account removes your personal data and any projects where you were the sole member. See deleting your account.
